Planning for a Phuket trip? Here is a complete guide on what to do & what to wear!
If Phuket has been your dream destination for vacation, then you are bound to experience happiness and serenity on your holiday trip. Recently, I came back having spent the time to cherish forever from the relaxing trip of Phuket. I would love to share my trip experiences with all you lovelies. The ever-bustling island of Phuket could be so relaxing and at the same time have so many hot spots to visit.

The weather here in Phuket stays warm all throughout a year. However, it rains a lot in here. The weather could still go up to 75 degrees, so be prepared accordingly. If you wish to travel Phuket in winters, it will have the advantage of not getting more of rain but can be heavy on your pockets, as it may cost you more for being the peak season to visit the island. But, if you visit in the summer months, you save a lot on local activities.
How to travel:
Tuk- tuk: Well, the lifeline of the island is undoubtedly the Tuk-Tuk and you can rely on this transportation facility as your best friend. The tuk-tuk is a tiny, 3 wheeled taxi that can quickly get you from destination A to destination B. The best part about this is that it is fun and a lot more economical and cheaper than renting out a car.
Speed boats: If you wish to see the array of splendid islands surrounding the island of Phuket, one of the best ways to explore is through the medium of speed boats. I would highly recommend visiting these islands on a speed boat because there you will find the actual scenery of the pictures found in google images. The plus point is that getting to these local islands is extremely simple and easy and all you are required to do is to join a local tour. These tours can be availed from any part of the island, they pick you up from a resort and take you for sightseeing the entire day (lunch inclusive) and then drop you at your hotel.
Motor boats: While traveling the island, a lot of people could be seen riding motorcycles and mopeds around the town. It is an easy, fun and fast way to zip and explore around the island if you know how to drive one. The good part remains that these are available for rent on a daily basis and at a cheap price.
What to pack and what to wear?
The weather of Phuket is humid and therefore you need to pack your stuff accordingly. Try opting for light weighted clothing. Keep it simple and sassy, with the cotton and linen and forget about the faux and fur in here. This way you can keep yourself cool and composed. However, layering is something I would advise visiting tropical destinations to avoid the sun. Pack a lot of midi dresses, bikinis and loose clothing.
Shoulder tops, tank tops, crop tops with shorts and capris, swimsuits, bikinis and button downs are something I would highly recommend to pack. However, while packing for the footwear, you must have some good and comfy flip flops, metallic sandals, strappy sandals and a good pair of classy heels for night dinners and parties.
