We all have those nights and memories curling up and watching a movie by ourselves or with friends. Time to be yourself to fun laugh on silly gossips. So I love to watch fashion movies and get some fashion inspiration while you are at it?
These are some my favorite movies which probably have watched More than once and my favorite for their fun & unique talks on style.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s:
One of the classic glamour fashions showcased. The title ‘”Black Dress” can be credited to this film. A total classic which I love to watch over & over again.
This is one of those iconic fashion movies. Kate Hudson plays a whimsical glamorous, free spirit looks her outfit definitely matched her rate & the fur jacket was breathtaking apart of all the attire. it was known to be a fashion signature.
Devil Wears Prada:
One of the most glamorous movies based on an American comedy-based drama based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel, Although the movie is set in the fashion world, is set as a critic, The Devil Wears Prada” is being positioned as a movie for grown-ups and others who know what, or who, or when, or where, Prada is.Yet it still remains a favorite among the fashion set for its insight into the industry.
Dior and I:
The star of this documentary, designer Raf Simons, recently left the house of Dior, where he reigned as head designer for almost four years. Though Simons conceived of every collection the house presented, there’s a team of insanely talented designers at the Dior atelier who help bring those visions to life so beautifully it might make you feel a little emotional when you see them float down the runway.
Coco Before Chanel:
Young Coco Chanel (Audrey Tautou) works as a seamstress by day and a cabaret entertainer by night, then she meets a wealthy heir (Benoît Poelvoorde) and becomes his lover and fashion consultant
Tired of the flowery hats, tight corsets and yards of lace that define women’s fashion, Coco uses her lover’s clothing as a starting point to distil an elegant and sophisticated line of women’s clothing that propels her to the top of Parisian haute couture. A movie can’t miss on.
There are some more movies to count on like sex & the city, 500 days of summer, Valentino: The Last Emperor, list goes on..
Share with me any of the movies you inspire like above? Are there any movies which you think should be on the list? Let me know
